247 Recruit were announced as the winners of the niche Technical Innovation Award for their 1clickCV product at the 2014 Onrec Awards. The award was presented to 247 MD Andrew Bird by Martin Blythe, Director of Onrec sponsor Searchability at the awards ceremony which took place at the Grange Hotel in London on 20th March.
1clickCV was awarded the Technical Innovation award by a panel of judges that included Steve Playford, Managing Director, Financial Times Career Management; Laura Stoker, Executive Director of Global Training at AIRS; Nigel Bicknell, Director of Business & Product development, Guardian News & Media and Matt Alder, Consultant on Digital, Mobile and Social Media Marketing Strategies.
1clickCV allows candidates to create their own online CV and then apply faster on any job board from any device by auto-filling application and registration forms. They can also use a Job Manager tool to keep track of all their applications in one place from any device. Each candidate gets a unique 1clickcv.com URL that they can send to anyone who wants to view their online CV. The service is 100% free for candidates.
The 1clickCV software platform was developed by a Toronto-based company called Careerleaf and launched in the UK by 247 Recruit in May 2013. The service has gained over 25,000 registered users since launch and an "Apply With 1clickCV" solution has been integrated with 16 UK job boards.
